2005 Elantra GT Alarm problem

I was in a minor front end collision (no frame or functiona damage- only bodywork) and immediately after, the alarm was still working and chirped after locking, but later the same day, I went to lock the car and walk away from it, but the alarm went off and I was able to turn it off, but after that the chirping sound stopped after locking and the alarm doesn't go off if I open the door with the keys, but fob still works to lock car.

TL;DR- alarm doesnt work anymore

Is the hood buckled? The hood switch is probably not closed due to the damage and preventing the alarm from arming.

It is, but minimally. It's still opens and closes without difficulty. But what's weird is now, it stops and starts working. Like this morning I took her to school and when I locked it, the alarm worked but after I took her home it didn't beep.

I still think it's the switch for the hood.
