2008 Elantra Blower Motor issue?

My hyundai 2008 Elantra is having an odd issue where the blower for the AC/Heater will intermittently not spin. The compressor is fine. I can feel the cold air blowing through the vents while in motion. The blower motor will sometimes spin when I turn on the car, sometimes not. I can usually get it to start by continually turning the air off, then back on. Eventually, the blower will "kick in" and start to work. When it does work, the air is limited, not full strength as it once was.

So I'm thinking I have a flaky blower motor. Anyone have any better suggestions?

Where is the motor located? Is there an online diagram I can reference?

Did you resolve this issue? We are having a similar problem. Our ac is making a high pitch noise and the pressure isn't what it should be while the air is still cold. What did you do to fix it?

My problem was the blower motor. On my model 2008 Elantra it was located under the dashboard on the passenger side. It looks like a cylinder coming down towards the floor. The cylinder must hold the fan motor that spins the fan that pushes air into the cabin. Changing just the motor wasn't too difficult but did take alot of contortion.

My problem was never the compressor, just the blower.

For us it was the cabin air filter, it took 5 min and $20 to fix, really easy you can youtube on how to do it. You have to go through the glove box.
