2011 v 2013 Elantra wheel
Howdy.
(This has probably been asked and answered but I tried searching before posting.) I need a real spare for my 2013 Elantra. After-market vendors either don't sell 16-6.5; or want mega bucks. I just want an inexpensive wheel because I live in the boonies and don't want to rely on road service or a wheel/tire combo that should only be driven a short distance. I found a 2011 Elantra wheel (16-6.5). Is the 2013 wheel different? If so, is a 2012 wheel the same as for 2013? (BTW, not that it should be relevant wheel-wise, but TPMS is not an issue-- I can get by without TPMS on my spare until I've had a chance to repair or replace a damaged original tire) thx --- JT |
2011, 2012 and 2013 are basically the same car (5th genaration). 2010 was the last year of the previous (4th) generation but I think the wheels were the same.
