Check Engine light wont clear
 

hi i have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra i fixed my gas filler neck and check engine light wont clear.
I ran scanner to run code and i got P1529 wondering how to fix this code?

I believe that code refers to the transmission. The cause and fix would need to be determined.

A quick search confirms that this code sets the CEL on behalf of the transmission module. So you need to get the actual fault code from the transmission module. We could speculate what that code may be but that could lead to you replacing parts that don't need to be replaced.
I do not know where you can get the transmission module scanned for low or no cost.
