cooling fans

Hello,
Nice place here. I have a 2001 2.0 Elantra auto. The cooling fans only work with the A/C on. I changed all the relays and the coolant temp sensor, don't know what it could be. Any ideas, Thanks,:confused: Richard B.

I have a 2000 Hyundai elantra and the fans will only work with the ac as well . At a lost what do I need to do?

Are you sure the coolant is hot enough for the fans to go on?

I had to change a sensor so It is working now!!

Mine is doing the same thing.
Which sensor did you change.
My temp gauge never seems to move also.
Kind of odd being as how its 120* here.
