Couple issues with '00 Elantra.

Okay. So i got the car for trading my 93 Explorer but it does have some issue...

First.. The clement control buttons,(hot to cold, blower speed, and selector) all do not light up as well as the cigerette lighter doesnt work.. I have checked all fuses and the lights work for the AC, the defrost and the circuler air thing.. It does have an after market radio in it..

Second, The driver side window falls off the tracks when its about 75% up and wont go up correctly unless i hold it? What gives? how do i fix it?

Third, the Check Engine light is on.. I comes up with the P0103 which is MAS which i figure it just needs replaced.. But i also get the 1624 and the temperture sensor for the tranny (cant remember the number) How do i make does two go away? The Car runs great and shifts without thinking about it (Auto tranny) all the way to forth. doesnt hessitate or anything..

and lastly, After the car has been running for awhile, when i go to start it it will sometimes die or want to die.. like it'll run at a real low RPM and just not want to idle.. Connected to above codes?

Thanks in advance! I really like this car and hope you guys can help me get her runnin like new again.

climate control buttons...all you can do is replace the bulbs behind them if you really want to go through the hassle.

for the cigarette lighter, its probably the lighter itself. have you tried plugging in anything else? if not its either the receptacle, wiring or a fuse. looks like you eliminate fuse, but worth checking again.

sounds like the window regulator is toast. either that or the bolts holding the glass. easiest way is to get a new regulator and bolting at a junkyard. remove the interior door skin and its easily replaced.

you make the 1624 go away the same way you make the 0103 go away. replace the sensor, then clear the codes. check wiring and plugs for corrosion/damage before you go buy sensors.

yes the stumbling/stalling are likely caused by the above problems. impossible to say for sure, but if there's a problem fix it. then troubleshoot from there.
