Driver's side mirror
Hi all,
One of my co-workers has a 2004 Elantra and has just had the driver's side mirror broken off for the second time in 2 months. I don't want her to have to pay the $300+ dollars the places are quoting around here, and have replaced quite a few mirrors on my own/families cars before. Does anyone have any pointers or diagrams I can look at so I don't break anything like a clip? Thanks! P.S. I did a search for this but couldn't find anything |

http://www.hmaservice.com/viewer/img/note_icon_eng.gif Take care not to scratch the mirror and door. 1.Lower the door glass fully. 2.Carefully pry out the mirror cover (A) by hand. http://www.hmaservice.com/data/Passe...G/eske008b.gif 3.Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the mirror mounting bolts while supporting the mirror (B). http://www.hmaservice.com/data/Passe...G/eske008c.gif 4.Installation is the reverse of removal. http://www.hmaservice.com/viewer/img/note_icon_eng.gif Make sure the connector is connected properly. |
Thanks for the quick reponse, worked perfectly!
