Default Exhaust Pipe on a 2008
Does the Flex (Front) Pipe flex a lot or should it be rigid? I can move the flex part maybe 6 in. or more is that normal? I have a thumping noise and everything I looked at seems Ok...except the exhaust...

Well that's normal...went to the dealer to check out a new front pipe and moves like a slinky... After googling this problem (thumping noise) it maybe the rear shocks...I may make this a springtime project...

Yes, SOME movement is normal, 6 inches is not. I'm guessing you were exaggerating when you said 6 inches.
