I have no heater fan on settings 1-3. On 4, if i press against the fan ****, it works, but when I take off pressure, it stops working. It was working fine for a while, then 1-3 stopped but 4 worked. Now 4 only works when I press it as described.

Any ideas? I'm pretty handy so maybe this is something I can fix myself? I've Google'd it, and found soem mentions of Resistors and such.

If you have to press it in for it to work, then that indicates the switch is bad. Get one from a junkyard.

 

How old is the car? If it's less than 5 years and 60k miles, it's still covered under warranty.
