I just got in my car today and when I am not applying the gas the engine shakes really bad. Also, the check MIL (Check Engine) light is on.

Does anyone know what might be going wrong?

Is there a way to check for fault codes with out a ODBII reader?

 

I got the Malfunction Indicator Light came on yesterday for me. According to the manual, it is a problem with the exhaust gas regulator. Not sure what to do. Anyone have any idea?

 

Take it to your dealer and have the fault code confirmed, then take it from there.

Got it solved. Read somewhere on this forum, three clicks. So I tightened the gas filler cap, three clicks, after a day, the problem gone for good.
