knocked bumper off elantra
 

so i knocked the front bumper off my elantra, went thru a AAA shop to get the damage estimate. it came in at 1650$, it seems to me the shop was adding as much charges as possible, im wondering what the easiest fix is to this problem. i can take it to the shop and pay 500 deductible on top of that estimate or take a check for 1150 and fix it myself. the bumper was knocked off and one of the attachments at the top is busted off and still connected to the car, other than that there is hardly any damage. One of the tire linings got pulled off and there is another small part that is cracked, other than that its just the grill and the bumper. I dont know whether i should get someone to fix the bumper - if that is even possible, order a new bumper and have it painted and then either try to fix it myself or pay someone to fix it, or say screw it and just let the shop handle it.
