Not Supposed To Play Cd-r/rw Cds?
 

Ok, so i just got an '06 Elantra yesterday, and when I drove the car off the lot, I realized there was a sticker on the CD player that said "Dont play CD-R/RW CDs." I then looked in the manual and it said not to, but it seemed to only be a precaution, not a direct command to not use them. I then tried to play one *gulp* and it worked fine. Now I'm wondering, should I not do this again? or am I fine to keep playing these recorded CDs??

Yeah i bought on 06 about a month ago.. It didnt have a sticker on it but I tried to play an RW and it said ERROR 6.. Which I had no idea what it meant but it spit the cd back out.. I tried it again a few days later, still no success. So i say do it until it messes up with caution!!.. You take your chances, you have warranty on your radio for a while but if the cd messed it up or got jammed it would be your $$ not warranty!
