im looking at a 2001 elantra for a friend, and the check engine light is on. so they took it to the dealer and got the code p0720. output speed sensor. does anyone know the best way to change one of these, maybe a picture of its location. any help is appreciated. thanks.

Sensor is out in the open in most respects, mounted over top of the output shaft of the transmission,, sorta in front/beside/below brake master cylinder. Need a long 1/4 drive extension with 10mm socket, remove the bolt, carefully rotate sensor side to side and lift... then carefully release the connector from the sensor.
I apply a dab of lube to the o-ring on new sensor so it will pop into the hole easily, re-install bolt (snug),, then plug in connector carefully and straight till it "clicks"... clear code and drive.
