recall letter today
had my hyundai elantra a year now, a gsi 1.6 pertrol.
like all its features - but it has so many problems.
the list is so long, already replaced clutch and brakes, next on my list is fixing power steering leak, the failed boot gas struts and the door central locking is driving me insane has a mind of its own!
and to top it off i get a letter this morning saying there is a recall on this model for suspension corrosion.!
what next - am loosing faith in hyundai, was hoping to change to a coupe in a few years. but if elantras are this bad whats the point!
any one have any guidence, and knowlage of the recall?
my car is a hyundai elantra on a 2002 plate. Im in the UK but all the info on recall is about the American cars can not find anything on the 2011 UK recalls - atho the problems do sound similar to the American recalls last year!
my car has just been mot'd so im sure it will be fine as i think suspension assembely corrosion would have been notice in an mot ??. but i will take it to the dealer anyway just to be on the safe side.
will keep searching for some more info i think.
