Replaced CV Axle, Now Leaking

Hey, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to imports. Last week I replaced the passenger cv axle on my 02 elantra gls (automatic), after I took it for a test drive I noticed it was leaking fluid fairly steadily from where the transaxle meets the axle. I assumed it was the output seal so I replaced it, poured some tranny fluid in and it is leaking just as much as before. I've been looking around and have heard it could be bearings in the transaxle (sounds expensive/difficult). Thanks for any input guys.

Make sure the axle snaps into the diff . Ya gotta line up the splines and pop it in there. if it comes back out easily ya not doin it right.

Okay I found the solution! This sounds stupid but............ they gave me the wrong part! The neck of the joint wasn't wide enough to cover the gap between the spine and the output seal. Got the right axle, all is well.
