Rough Ride 2001 Elantra GLS
 

I have a 2001 that rides like a roller skate. I bought it a month ago. Runs real good thought the shifter is sort of junkie feeling, no issues yet, and I hate the hydrolic clutch but it is what it is and all in all I am pleased with the vehicle its getting 34+ consistently.

Will changing out the struts smooth things out? It has 160K miles on it and Ive been told it wont help much. Is this just going to be a rough ride? I enjoy the car so far but the road noise is excessive and it feels everything under it.
