Please help!! I have a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. The seat belt chime goes off while my seat belt is ON every 30 seconds. Sometimes it doesn't go off when the seat belt IS off. Incredibly annoying! The driver's side seat belt. It is also inconsistent as it only does like about 50% of drive time. But I commute so that's alot of chiming. Any suggestions to fix? Thank you!

 

bit exactly sure how the circuit works but any chance your loading enough weight in the passenger seat to make the car think it has a passenger with no seat belt on?

 

Try hitting the seat belt catch with some compressed air. Might be some stuff in there interfering with completing the circuit.
