I have a Elantra MD 2011 sedan, when started Cold in the morning,the motor starts, then a whinning sound is heard for about 7 to 8 seconds.
Has done this since new,Hyundai Service has changed fan belt but hasn't made any difference.
After first start and the car has traveled several kilometres, the vechicle starts normally for the rest of the day.
Does anyone have the same problem? or it may be a normal sound,as this is an advanced motor with Electric assisted Steering,I would welcome any comments.
