Tranny repaired, now AC doesn't work???
2000 Elantra
Could there be any correlation between having a transmission replaced and then the AC not working? When I hit the AC switch the background lights up but the compressor does not activate. I have checked the fuses and they seem fine. I took the fuse from the AC location and tested it by putting it in the headlight position. Lights worked. Blower works fine. |
Somebody disconnected something. I'd go back to whoever replaced your trans.

I have done that already. They said they didn't touch anything related to AC. |
Maybe not intentionally but things happen. Maybe wiring to the compressor or pressure sensors were accidentally knocked loose.
