Does a 2010 Elantra have floor drains?
Long story but our 2010 Elantra took a good amount of water onto the floor (from outside the car) and a bunch of it went under the carpeting. You can hear and feel it squishing around when you put pressure on the floor. We've vacuumed out as much as we can but it will not fully dry because of the sizeable volume of water under the carpet; and the inside of the car is now starting to get a moldy smell.
Does it have drain plugs in the floor that can be removed from underneath to let water back out? I took a look from the ground and haven't seen anything yet.
Unfortunately in winter here (PA) it will be a long time before it gets hot enough inside the car to cook it all out. I am hoping there are some plugs we can pull to let the water out the bottom.
If not, do we have any options other than to remove the carpeting?

Pretty much all vehicles are made with drain holes, that are filled with body plugs. Either way, you will need to remove whole carpet and allow it to dry out. The carpet needs tons of air circulation on all sides of it to dry properly. Removing the body plugs might get rid of the excess water, but the carpet is the sponge. If not, it will mold.
