i been to 2 dealerships and both repair shops gave me this bull crap about
"theres some coolant touched the belt so you need to replace it!!!"

Ive never heard of it before, and Im 50...now I see online its a big scam.
I knew something was wrong when the second repair salesman said the exact same thing....little did he know I had just changed the serpintine belt the day before. The small drip was from a water pump leak, and the coolant hadnt even hardly touched the belt. I told them so and mentioned he can just rinse it off

just amazes me the scams/lies these people think up.....

coolant on a rubber belt....whats next? replace the engine because theres some oil spilled while putting in oil..
