2009 Elantra Touring won't start

Recently had the keys reprogrammed at the dealer because the car would not start. At the time the dealer said the problem may be related to the computer and in fact, reprogramming the keys did not work. Sometimes the car will start, and sometimes we have to let it sit and it eventually works. When we speak to the dealer, they say that it appears that the computer, and or antenna is failing and need to be replaced. The estimated cost of replacing the parts is at least $600 at our dealer in Brossard Quebec. Any smart ideas, or do we have to bite the bullet and replace these parts?

Curious, what made you believe the keys needed reprogramming?
Did a mechanic or technician tell you the no start was due to the immobilizer?

We started noticing that sometimes the key was not working immediately, but it would eventually start the car. then we noticed that it was both keys that were "acting up", so we went to the dealer. They said that the keys needed reprogramming which they did, but that the problem may be related to the computer ( Immobilizer?). This seemed to fix the problem, but soon we problem returned.
I said the estimate to fix this was $600 but we also have to pay the taxes, so we are talking $700 or more. We are looking for suggestions.
