2009 ET auto transmission

Wife picked me up the other night. She parked on a hill and put the car in Park
The car surged ahead a few inches and made a loud clicking noise. Took it to the dealer and they checked it out and ordered a new transmission for it.
2009 ET sport 57,600 miles on it. No other problems except a few light bulbs, replace a battery and of course the door to the gas cap sticks some times. Not happy with the gas milage compared to the newer cars but really like the room in the back. Any one have the 60k service done? How did that go? Also has any one added an extended warranty and how did that go?

Tsb

There is a TSB for the fuel door. They stick a little piece of foam on the fuel door metal spring to kick it open a little better. Dealer should know about this issue.
As for the trans, mine is slipping between 3-4 shifts.
Seems the AT has alot of problems and there is a replacement program TSB also for this.
