2010 vs 2011 Touring Drivers seat bracket
Hi, I've got a 2010 Touring Sport and just before I purchased it, I drove a 2011 Touring Sport. I'm 6'2" and though my 2010 has an okay seat position when the seat is pushed back, it seemed to me that the 2011 had a longer seat track which had me a few inches further from the pedals.
Does anyone know if the seat track from the 2011 is slightly longer than the 2010? A Hyundai dealer sent me these part #'s for drivers side seat tracks for the touring but said they had no actual specs on the part's size. Thepart numbers are: 88501-2L500 88501-2L560 88501-2L580 Thanks for any insight. |
I have an '11 SE model, US, and the tracks measure 15 1/4 inches and the frames on which the track rides, bolt to bolt, is 17 inches.
Hope this helps. Greg Z |
2010 vs 2011 Touring Drivers seat bracket
Thanks Greg,
I'm going to check my 2010 dimensions and see how they stack up. Hyundai Canada has also sent me a pseudo cryptic email which said that the 2011 had superior interior room, I'm not quite sure what that means but they also gave me a list of part #'s though with no descriptions. If the runners are the same length, I've found some aluminum square tubing which I'm fabbing into a front bracket riser so at least the seat will support the thigh a little better. If the 2011 runner is longer, then I'll swap them out. Thanks for the measurements! |
