Cargo dimensions
I'm thinking of purchasing a touring and was wondering if anyone knows the dimensions of the cargo area with seats up and down (L/W/H).

No, but in a previous post I stated that I got a 55 in Flat Screen into my cargo area.

SUP Paddleboard 10' by 30" fits with the passenger seat down.
My old 10'6" one was a little too big |
Canadian Driver had this to say:
All Elantra Touring models have 60/40 folding rear seatbacks which fold down easily without having to remove the head restraints, even when the front seats are in their most rearward position. When folded, the seatbacks don’t lie perfectly flat – but almost. Total cargo capacity with the rear seats folded is 1848 litres, the most in its class says Hyundai. The Elantra Touring’s cargo floor length with the rear seats up is 91 cm, and with the seats down it’s 170 cm. The right front passenger seatback does not fold flat, though. Not all the dimensions, but may help. I do believe that there is more cargo space in the Touring with the seats down than in the Tucson SUV. |
