Have 2012 manual. Filled up only twice so far. Moderate AC use, coasting down hills to try to improve fuel efficiency. So far am getting 33.4 mpg both fillups. Mostly hwy driving with hsome heavy stop and go traffic and some city driving.

the strange thing I am noticing is that my ET got better gas mileage when brand new? Aren't they supposed to break in and get better mileage after a few thousand miles? Mine is now lucky to get 30 when is used to get more like 32-35...

Hmmm, that's what I've been hearing, as cars break in they get better fuel mileage, but I have heard that is because the computer is also still adjusting to your driving. I guess as engine parts start to wear down and mesh better and bearings break in fuel efficiency will go up.

You said yours is lucky to get 30. But I thought you said in your earlier post you rarely get below 30. Kind of a contradiction.
