Elantra Touring SE
Hello all, new to the group. I purchased my Elantra Touring SE one month ago and I love this little car. I have read a lot of reviews on the ET SE and agree with almost all post. It is a nice little around town cruiser and does very well on the highway. I thought that it was sort of silly the way some people were complaining about the performance. This is not a sports car/dragster. I have found the power to be quite adequate under acceleration in town and at highway speeds. I am 6' 3" and weigh 220 and have no problem with interior space in the car. The gas mileage is great, I am experiencing 25-26 in town and about 34 - 36 on the highway. I am a fairly conservative driver. This is a HUGE differance from the 06 Chevy Trailblazer/gas guzzler that I traded in. It seems that there are a few aftermarket parts available now but maybe the selection will increase. Good driving and hope all of you enjoy yours as much as I do.
William I saw your car on the forums before I bought mine. Looks real good. I really like the gray color but it was not available on the lot when I bought mine. They only had black and white. I had my windows tinted a darker shade but I wish someone made ventvisors for it. Maybe some more aftermarket parts will come along.

I had to tint my windows also. I also tinted the top part of the windshield.
Great car and I love mine. I have only seen one other Touring in my area in a year.
Look on e ebay! you should see many add on items. I have purchased many and I am happy with I got.
Take a look at my garage.

Hello all. New to the board.
Haven't made my purchase yet but am leaning towards trading in my 2003 Silverado SS for the Touring SE.
Great to see that I can add some parts to make it a little sportier while still having a roomie safe ride I can feel confident taking my 7mo son in.
Anyone know of any engine mods thaat can be done for more power while not screwing with the fuel economy to much?
