How to get more audio power for 2009 Touring?

I am very happy with my 2009 Touring. My only improvement would be with the volume of the factory sound system. I want to keep the stock radio but would like to know if it would be possible to add an amp to it. Would I need a two or four channel amp? And would I need to change the speakers? Any suggestions where to go for this in Jersey, near Union County? Thanks.

I posted removal of stereo and amp. In a new thread :)

You could find one simiar size to the oem amp and install in the orginal spot or remove rear wheel and make bracket to install amp there. You can buy devices which piggy back the signal of the orginal deck audio and then re wire the car and install new higher quality speakers.
