- CD changer operation instructions may be somewhat different according to the CD changer model.
The following method is just one example.

- Be sure to press LOAD to open the CD slot. If feeding a CD into the slot by force, it may cause damage to the CD changer.

- CD must be inserted with the label facing upward.
- This CD player is suitable only for 12cm discs. DO NOT use irregular shaped CDs.
4.To insert multiple discs, press and hold LOAD button for more than 0.8 seconds. A beep sound will be heard and it will let you load CDs into all of the slots in which no CD has been loaded.
- This CD player takes up to 6 discs. DO NOT try to load more than six.

how much power (watts) does the amp provide? Can you add on a bluetooth to sync up the new iphone or a HD radio to get the latest in radio?

Are the amp's the same as the us spec (im in australia)?

I believe there is only one version of amplifier for the i30 available thats oem.

On the slx and sr, the sr has a 6 stacker mp3 player and high quality speakers LOL. (which are hyundais own brand) But sound as good as my old $650 6.5" Jl splits.

As the slx only single disc mp3 but still has amplified speakers. I will investigate tomorrow and upload pics and info of our amps I don't know about the blue tooth tho..

Wow,
Thank you. Looks like a standard double DIN unit but with non-standard mounting. Would take some work and some careful cutting of the front dash plastic to make an aftermarket navi fit in that.

Default amp

wow

with that, you could power a set of components at the front and forgo the rear speakers and bridge the amp for a sub.

I wonder what the SN ratio is and the THD is.

Default auxiliar input for PA710 radio

Dear friends: I want to know how I can connect my MP3/MP4 to the auxiliar input in my TUCSON with PA710 head radio.
How can I connect to C2 + C3 connector?

Default i30 Bluetooth mute

Hi,

The stereo layout for the i30 was very interesting and appears to be from some sort of manual, if so can you advise where I could obtain a manual for an i30. My i30 is United Kingdom which I presume is the same.

My other question is about fitting a Parrot MKi9100 hands free kit and if the C1 pin 5 (mute) can be connected to the mute cable from the hands free kit and if this will stop the cd/usb from playing when bluetooth is in action. I have read on some vehicles that when the mute is used it displays either mute or phone when activated, does the i30 setup do this.

Hi there.

I know it's kinda late in this thread to post answers, but do any of you happen to know where there's a line-out signal to feed an external amplifier, from the standard radio in facelifted i30?
I'm not able to see any line-outs in the above schematics, and haven't been able to find any info by googling.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Martin

Default dash pad remove

hi there!

I found this helpful post about stereo removal. My i30 has a bit different dash. No upper tray just a black plastic cover on the top in place of the tray.

My question is that how can I remove the dashpad in the mentioned case when I can't begin with removing the upper tray (can't see any screws). Maybe the plastic cover is removable or is it coming out with the whole dash? And what kind of equipment do I need when I begin removing the dash?

Thanks,

Attila
