Idle speed when engine is warm...
 

My ET idles at about 300 rpms in drive...and doesnt really change much when in nuetral or park. That seems too low.

Last time I looked it was around 700 to 800 rpms. Must run awfully rough at 300 rpm.

It does feel rough. Sometimes it will idle just under 500 and it does feel smoother when my hands are on the wheel.

Cold start/fast idle seems at least closer to normal...1200 or so. Unless thats too low as well, lol.

So, what happened here? Did you get it back to the dealer, or did you trade it in?

Well, since you asked Omni. I traded it. It was a problematic vehicle pretty much since day one.

I received an offer in the mail that led to the dealer helping me out a lot by giving me a great trade. I bought a 2012 Sonata SE turbo about 3 weeks ago. Prior to purchasing it, the problems with the ET facilitated two service loaners that were both SE turbos. After a combined 1000 miles between the two, I was just as impressed with this model at the time I turned it back in. It was an easy decision.

Congrats on the new car, was reading your past posts and I probably wouldn't have waited this long. Let us know how a different Hyundai model works out for you.
