Idle speed when engine is warm...
My ET idles at about 300 rpms in drive...and doesnt really change much when in nuetral or park. That seems too low.

Last time I looked it was around 700 to 800 rpms. Must run awfully rough at 300 rpm.

Cold start/fast idle seems at least closer to normal...1200 or so. Unless thats too low as well, lol. Thanks! |
So, what happened here? Did you get it back to the dealer, or did you trade it in?

I received an offer in the mail that led to the dealer helping me out a lot by giving me a great trade. I bought a 2012 Sonata SE turbo about 3 weeks ago. Prior to purchasing it, the problems with the ET facilitated two service loaners that were both SE turbos. After a combined 1000 miles between the two, I was just as impressed with this model at the time I turned it back in. It was an easy decision. |
Congrats on the new car, was reading your past posts and I probably wouldn't have waited this long. Let us know how a different Hyundai model works out for you.
