Need info re wheels & tires

Does anyone know which 15" rims and winter tires will fit on my 2010 ET hatchback? I am very bad at this. Although I've spent hours on line, I can't figure it out. (I hope ET stands for Elantra Touring)

What are you trying to do? What size wheels/tires came on your Touring?

I'm trying to replace the all-season rims&tires with a set of 15" winter rims&tires.
:)

My husband says that the wheels on there now are 15". But I think they're 16" 'cause they're kumho solus kh16.

But he's right. They are 15". It says P195 65r15 89T M+S on the tires

You could go somewhere like tirerack.com or discounttiredirect.com and enter the model of your car and it will give you options for winter tires and rims.

Tires come in a wide range of sizes (obviously) and you want to try to match the outside diameter of the tread as best you can. You already have 15" rims/tires on so you want to get as close to those measurements as you can. Traditionally they are listed as treadwidth/ratio/rim-size, so you want a 195/65/15. This means the tread is 195mm wide, the side wall height ratio is 65%, and the rim size is 15 inches. Deviate too much from these numbers and your handling and speedometer accuracy will suffer.

There are 3 important numbers with rims. Lug pattern, offset (how far they stick out), and center bore (hole in the middle of the rims). Stock is 5x114.3mm (or 5x4.5") lug pattern, 45mm-55mm offset, and a 67.1mm center bore.

I have been looking for gently used winter tires and rims for my 2010 ET as-well and allowing a range from 185 to 195 for a 65/15, or a 195 to 215 for a 60/15. These ranges will allow for a maximum of 2mph error at 80mph. Hope this helps!
