Next generation 2012 Elantra Touring is coming to US

Next generation 2012 ET will be based on the 2011 elantra sedan and it will use the all new 1.8 Nu engine and 6 speed automatic gearbox... so I guess MPG will be much better...

Are you going to upgrade your ET?

Negative.

The new Sonata and Elantra, while not bad by any stretch, are a little far out for my tastes. I rather like the styling on the ET.

I have made some cosmetic plans for springtime...tint, lower, blackout most of the chrome--including the wheel inserts, and black-out lights.

Should look something like this when we're all said and done...

Dude, that's a sweet concept. Almost looks like a 'stealth' package that could be offered right from the factory. If it's your cup of tea, I think a set of matching eyelids would go well with that setup.

I have these and they look stock: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ArtX-...Q5fAccessories
