tire pressure monitoring

make sure you do as the manual says and check your pressure. I was surprised to find my pressure off by about4 1/2 lbs per tire. I don't know what Hyundai means by significant pressure loss but to me that is significant. I usually do check it often but was relying on the monitor and I shouldn't have and as the manual says you shouldn't. My bad.

Tire pressures can fluctuate by as much as 5-psi depending on temperature. This is why you need to check your tire pressured regularly and not rely on the TPMS.
