Used wheels for Elantra Touring - what fits?
 

I am looking for a spare set of steel wheels for my Elantra Touring 2010. I want to mount more aggessive snow tires for the winter and keep them mounted on the wheels. I will change wheels/tires in spring and fall. Do the wheels from the Elantra fit? Any other or all of the Hyundai line what years and models?

Not all Elantra wheels fit. 2007-up will fit but 2006-older will not. 2003-up Tiburon will fit, 2006-up Sonata will fit.

you're referring to the 15" wheels(steel)??

Steel or aluminum, 15", 16" or 17". They all will fit as long as the bolt pattern is the same and the backspacing is similar.

So that being said - I have a 2010 Elantra Touring GLS Standard with the plain steel wheels.
Tires = 195 / 65 / 15
What is the back spacing and hole pattern for those?
Is it encoded in the number stamped on the wheel somewhere?
Is it in the manual?
Hw does one find this out?

Bolt pattern is 5 on 114.3mm

OK, I've been down this exact road looking for replacement wheels for a winter tire setup. According to Discount Tire Direct,the correct offset for the Touring is 47mm! My Touring came with the 17" wheel package but I chose to go with 15" wheels for winter tires. By doing this you'll achieve more sidewall height which is better than running those low profile tires. If you were to buy aftermarket rims they're usually wider. The narrowest alloy rim I could find was 6". Combine that with the difference in offset and you'll be hanging out of the wheelwell a little more and possibly be slinging salt and snow all over the side. So, I ended up going with oem steel wheels, which you can find on ebay. I can give you the info if you can't find any. There's a place in NJ on ebay and they have the correct Elantra rims. I just don't have the info handy. Remember, if you go oem, you're getting the correct everything. Prepare to pay though. Rims, shipping, tires, mounting balancing, ugh . . . Offset Question
 

I am trying to find used wheels and winter tires for my 2011 Elantra Touring GL. I have 15" steel wheels currently. I have found that 2004 - 2009 Mazda 3 and 2007 and up Honda Civics have the same tire size (195/65/15) and bolt pattern (5x114.3). The only discrepancy is the offset on the wheels. The touring's offset is 47 while the Civic is 45 and the Madza3 is 52.5. Also, the offest on multi fit rims is 41 but Canadian Tire seems to think they will work.

Does anyone know if I will be able to use and of these wheels on the ET without problem?

A few millimeters of offset difference will not be an issue.

Make sure that the hub-bore matches, however. I believe the Mz3 is the same but the Honda's are smaller.

The calculator shows the Mazda3 will be exended outward 1mm (so its good) and it will be 11mm less clearance to the strut housing which could be a problem.

The Civic wheels will be extended outward 8mm and 4mm less clearance towards the strut housing.

Civic hub bore - 64.1
Mzd3 hub bore - 67.1
ET hub bore - 67.1

What do you guys think? Will either of these options work? For Touring owners looking for used rims and winter tires Civic and Mazda3 sets seem to dominate the market. This would be great information for people to have.

I am thinking Mazda3 with a 5mm spacer leaving me outward and inward 6mm might work.
