I have ordered my new 2010 ET, and am wondering whether to get the dealer to add the roofrack before I pick it up.
(For those of you interested, the 'description' for the item 'roof racks' is "This durable, quick-locking roof rack system lets you transport cargo easily, without sacrificing interior room.")

Does the Hyundai roofrack mounting create any holes or result in any other deformation/defacing of the vehicle?

 

I guess I will have to make it a point to see what 1 looks like,,,, if we have 1.

We have (2) Elantra Touring on the lot, 1 has rack, other has no rack.

It felt rather solid to the roof, and I looked at parts diagram on Microcat, it appears it is bolted to roof some how..
