I just got my 2012 gen coupe 2.0t.
I have no idea what i should do with it....

what would be the first step? any advise?

Personally, I wouldn't do to much to the engine if it's still under warranty. Just simple stuff like a cat-back exhaust and a cold air intake.

Exterior mods are cool as long as you keep it tasteful. Most people go overboard and make it gaudy and ugly.

Any suggestions on exhaust?

My suggestion is to go online and listen to videos of the different systems available and see which one sounds best to you.
