02 Santa Fe Gas Odor
 

I have been trying to find the source of the gas odor, and I found a couple really dry rotted hoses connected to the charcoal filter. I was able to replace one of them but the other will require removing the charcoal canister. What is the trick to removing it? Do you wait until it is off the car to remove the metal cover that is secured with the square nuts? If not what socket is used to remove the square nuts?
