How would I test the unit in front of the radiator if it is bad before I pull grill or if it is just hose?

 

Easiest thing to do is just look at it,, good light and eyes through the bottom, or open the hood and look down on it..

Common place to leak is the cooler. Was recall on the tubes that pass under radiator the yr before, so rusty tubes "could" also leak

We see them leak in the circled area at the green dots all the time --

 

Thank you Great picture. I went to the Dealer and they said there was no recall for the 03 model.

I willl pull the grill off Sat and take a look

 

Open the hood and look...

The car in picture was in process of getting tube replacement, that why the bumper cover is off (photo opportunity there).
