03 santa fe shifting problems
I have a 03 santa fe 2.7 AWD had the trans fluid changed and was ok for 5000 miles then it starts not wanting to auto shift when in drive.
It has the slap stick and this works fine all gears.
just in drive it wont shift untill letting up on gas.

verify updates to PCM and TCM... that era 2.7 has a couple engine and trans updates floating around.. quick connect to GDS and search in ECU UPGRADE mode will find them if applicable..
Do these with engine and trans hot, so that when done programming all, just remove battery cable for few minutes, and reconnect, then start the learn process while ATF is still blazin hot.
As far as the ATF change, who changed it ?? Dealer, then it will correct oil.... quick lube places,,, big NO NO for Hyundai ATF change,, they not know any better and fill them with Dexron, goof up your trans for you..
