04 santa fe trans issue
 

My daughter has an 04 santa fe with a transmission issue (slipping when the vehicle is cold) Are the tsb's the only fix? Is the dealer the only answer? Looking for help.

Has the trans fluid even been changed? How many miles are on it?

Don't think so, 163,000 plus.

So you have 163,000 miles on the original fluid? I'd say, that's your problem. Auto trans fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It should have been changed 5 times by now.
