I live in brooklyn, ny. My santa fe glsand the streets of brooklyn don't go together. The suspension is very stiff and I feel every single bump. Every bump or patch of rough road makes the truck feel like i'm running over big rocks.

Its great on smooth roads and highways, but in the streets it's a nightmare.

Can the suspension be tweaked or will i have to replace it?

Also, is there any way to integrate my ipod without buying a new system?

I bought an Alpine 7995 H/U for my Elantra (the whole system is upgraded) and it has the ability to controle every iPod function....such a great idea instead of carrying around CDs and getting them scratched.

I don't think your suspension can be tweaked/adjusted, but I'm going off of nothing more that me thinking Hyundai does not put enough options like this in their car (keep prices low). I'm sure you already considered going to the dealer about it. If it were me and the dealer gave me headaches or I just wanted to see for myself, I would go to the next dealer down the street and test drive one (take something other than your 07 when you go!) on a bumpy street and see if it has the same feel.

You cannot tweak a Santa Fe suspension.To alter the ride you will need to change the struts. These come in different grades depending on your requirements, i.e off-road, mixed conditions ect.There are dozens of different shock ratings out there in the big world

 

You could always swap out your current set up and go with bags. Lay some frame in the Santa Fe!![sm=joke.gif]
