Negative.... I have not done the job myself yet...

Like the Hyundai manual says, remove negative battery cable, replace evaporator..

In reality, recover the system of 134, seperate lines from firewall (look at new core to see where the lines need to come off.

Remove glovebox to create an opening, remove the main fan housing ------ I do not know if evaporator is in that main fan housing, you'll have to look and see where the joint is to left of the HVAC filter door.. he said it took some wiggle/roll to drop the unit out, then off to table top to open the box and swap the evaporator... re-assemble in reverse order.

Evacuate and re-charge system

I know this is an old post, but I am trying to remove the housing containing the evaporator core. What is the right way to wiggle it so it will come out? Do I pivot the left side down or the right side? Or do I roll the top towards me, or would it be the bottom?

I am kind of stuck with it hanging up half way out.

2003 Santa Fe

How much oil should be added when replacing the evaporator core & desiccant? I see the Halla compressor nametag shows Pag 46 oil is used.
