2003 Santa Fe Manual Codes 0410 0303 0446
My 4cyl Santa Fe started having issues with acceleration. When shifting form 1st to 2nd gear is the worst right now with about 2 sections of hesitation and sputtering. From there as long as I keep the RPM up around 3 the engine runs pretty smooth, however if I shift into any gear and the RPM dips to around 2 (to 2 1/2) the hesitation comes back. I am going to be replacing the spark plugs and wires shortly and I am just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and what else I should do before I go into the dealership.

P0303 = Cylinder #3 Misfire Detected
P0410 = Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction P0446 = Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction I'd have the emissions system checked first. |
Are you sure it is not supposed to be a P-0401for EGR circuit, or a 0140 for an Ox problem ?
There is no air injection on Federal or CA emission 2.4L. There is no 0410 in the 2.4L engine control menu on hmaservice, and I am in the dealer login portion.. no 0410 in the service manual either. |
