2004 Santa Fe Antenna Defective (where to look first)
[:@] The AM Radio signal in my early 04 santa fe degraded (Glass mount antenna). I changed the head end (Radio) with no resolution. There is clearly an antenna problem - its likely there is a high defect from hyundai in this area because a search revealed TSB 03-90-003. They sort of admit to a problem, don't tell you what it really is (They changed the antenna location for the second half of 04 model year) and they wont fix it (never recalled it) - has anyone experienced this - they have an amplifier in the roof between the glass mount antenna and the cable - its a bugger to get at - I'd like to increase my trouble shooting success with just one part.
