i have an 05 santa fe which had become damaged from a little fender bender, so i bought a replacement bumper cover and im looking how to take it off and what tools and other screws and such i would need, thankfully the peices that are on the car itself are not broken just the bumper itself


any information would be appreciated

 

COMPONENTS



REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the leads to the turn signals and headlamps.

2. Remove the turn signal lamps and head lamps.



3. Remove the screws holding the front bumper cover.



4. Raising the vehicle, remove the bolts holding the front bumper cover and the front wheel guard.



5. Remove the front bumper cover and the bumper energy absorber.



6. Remove the front bumper rail.



7. Installation is the reverse of removal.

 

i have gotten the new rail, im just trying to remove the old rail which is giving me problems, its a gold nut that seems to be stuck in there
