Default Wheel Bearings?

Hi! I have a 2009 Santa Fe, 21,000 miles. Are wheel bearings covered under warranty? Have a loud whiny/grinding noise and have by process of elimination ruled out the tires (although they do need replacing already). Can only come up with most likely a bad wheel bearing but want to see if they're covered. Thanks for any help!

Rotated tires and noise stayed same position with no change..

Driving down road, turn steering wheel to load a corner and it either gets louder 1 direction and quiet the other direction... likely wheel bearing.

Most is covered under powertrain I think, unless there is obvious wheel damage that would indicate impact that will damage bearing.

Thanks for your answer. I did try seeing if the noise changed on corners but doesn't. Stays the same hum. It only changes as I accelerate or deccelerate. Higher/lower. I guess the best thing is to take it in. As long as I know it's probably covered. The best way to describe the humming is like riding in a school bus, I always remember the tires/wheels humming.

If it did not change throwing car side to side... your tire treads where they meet the road is your noise.

You state you know your tires need replacing... replace them with 4 new quality tires and go from there..

Wheel bearings in Santa Fe is not something we see... there is no common problem with them

Thanks! I'm taking it in regardless, can't afford new tires now and honestly a little ticked off that they would need replacing after 20,000 miles anyway. The noise is VERY loud, have to blare the radio to try to block it out and feel some pull in the wheel, I'm really starting to think it's the bearing....
