Default 2007 Santa Fe rear wiper blade COST!

Hello!

Just curious what you are all paying for the rear wiper blade on your 07+ Santa Fe? I just inquired about a new one today at the dealership, and I was quoted at $50. That's completely outrageous, but I don't know of anywhere else to get a replacement. Any ideas?

Chuckle. Been there done that. Yeah, in Canada (Thornhill) I got a price of $38. Meanwhile the other blades were about $12.50 each (cheaper than Michelin at Costco).

The high price (besides the gouge factor) is probably because it isn't merely a simple "rubber+metal" blade - it includes the plastic part too - which I am sure adds a bit to the overall processing costs.

The manufacturer mails out semi-annual deals with dealers - so I used the "Save 10% on accessories" and bot 2 front and the single back with that discount. Also you can pick up the rubber renew type products though I found they aren't that great.

I have problems even finding basic parts to change the oil - Wallymart didn't have the air filter or oil filter last time I checked - sure they have a complete line of FRAM parts but when I looked up 2007 Santa Fe, it was shown - but the parts were blank - the car is still too new to get OEM parts.

So it may be a few years to get an OEM blade somewhere else - sadly.

(I had problems buying the 07 just because it had two mufflers)

FWIW

My Tucson is the same way. The aftermarket doesn't have a blade that fits the Hyundai style rear wiper arms. My advice, buy it cheaperfrom an online place like: http://www.hyundaipartsonline.com/oe_parts_cat.html

Enter your year/make/model first. Then click on "Electrical" then "Chassis Electrical" then "Wipers" then "Rear Blade". The price is $32.05 + shipping

i have just ordered this wiper blade(t14-a-ea) at amsoil.com for $18.55+$8.40 shipping and tax (total $26.95). Still a ripoff but the best price i could find without having to work and cut a wiper refill to fit.

The best price I have been able to find is getting an ExtractFit blade (T14A) which can be found at AdvanceAuto or Napa for around $12.

I just purchased 2 rear wiper blades from NAPA. Shipped to my house for both cost $33.91. The NAPA part number is 60-014-A. I went ahead and bought a spare because it was so difficult to find one. I believe someone may have taken the one off my Santa Fe.

I'll be checking into this... but my former Saturn Vue had a weird size. I bought a similar longer one.. then just cut it to size.

$50.. heck the 2003 Audi and Subaru Tribeca had cheaper blades and they had to be bought from the dealer !

Default Cheap Genuine parts

My dealer in canada wanted $44 (PLUS TAX) for a rear-wiper blade for my 2010 Elantra touring GLS. NOBODY locally carries a matching blade. I got one for $14.85 INCLUDING SHIPPING from
i30 07- TM 10 TUCSON 10- GENUINE REAR WIPER BLADE - eBay (item 110633906482 end time Mar-22-11 09:27:47 PDT)

koraps-autoparts

VERY satisfied. Send them your VIN number for the part you are interested in - they will validate if the part fits your model.
