Default 2008 Santa Fe 2.7 speedometer stopped working

Found lots of information that this is a common problem, I thought I would find a Youtube video or something to aid in finding where this thing is and how to replace it, rather than paying the shop $400 to do so. ODO, tach, and everything else on the cluster work fine. Replacement part number based on VIN is 4651039700 for the speed sensor, so I have that at least. Can someone point me to a video or pictures/instructions of where this thing is, can you DIY it or are we going to have to bite the bullet and bring it to the shop?

Check on the top of the rear axle housing.

Why would the speed sensor for a FWD vehicle be on the rear axle?

This is supposedly a common problem from the research I've done, unfortunately I'm running into a wall finding repair information or a good YouTube video how-to. You'd think if it was so common, there would be more information out there.
