Default 2008 Santa Fe limited alarm sounds don’t work after replacing alternator

I recently had to replace the alternator. After doing so and reassembling everything, I noticed that when I use my key fob to lock or unlock the car, it won’t make the beeping noise as it usually does. Also, the remote start will not work anymore either. The car locks and unlocks with the key fob, but that is it. I tried disconnecting battery and reconnecting to reset, but nothing. Also, the stock radio now seems to be making a noise with the cd changer after locking. The red light on dash is blinking, but just no beep noise when locking and unlocking with key fob. Where is the hood switch located? Maybe it has something to do with when I reassembled? Or possible fuse got blown when car died from alternator failing? Thanks in advance for any help.
