Help! We just bought my daughter a 2009 Santa Fe. It needed a new armrest assembly. One latch was broken but also the vinyl was bad. I called the dealership and received the part number. Ordered the part on eBay and now I need help with replacing it. I’ve found a video on how to replace one on a Sonata (link below) but it’s not quite working the same. I’ve included pictures of the new assembly and of the back of the center console (not my car). Please help with step by step (I’m not used to working on cars!) but I’m trying to help my daughter do this. Thank you!!

This is what the back of the center console looks like. Just not our car

I need to find out how to get to the circled part to remove and replace the whole armrest assembly.

 

Might be a good idea to start with removing the 4 phillips head screws that can be easily seen in the photo.
